  1. If I could travel to one place it would be Hawaii. I like places that are tropical and Hawaii would be the place for that. I would want to go to a beach there and enjoy the ocean. Along with this, I would like to travel all around Hawaii just to see what it looks like at certain places. I would want to see how it is both similar and different to Ohio.

  13. If I could travel anywhere in the United states, I would go to Washington D.C. I've always wanted to go to the nation's capital, after Donald Trump gets out of office, to see the many historical landmarks. In 6th grade I wasn't able to go on the trip. So my one opportunity to go somewhere would be Washington. The building of Capitol Hill is so gorgeous. To also be able to meet some of my personal role models working within the Capital would be a dream come true. I would also like a tour of the White house. Then I could officially say, "Lincoln could've once stood where I did." That's why I would go to Washington D.C.

  19. I would like to travel to New York City, but because of the pandemic my plans to travel have been postponed. Because I love shopping and visiting different sights, New York City is my favorite place to travel to. The city is always moving, and being in the crowded, noisy streets gives me an adrenaline rush. Some buildings, if they are high enough, offer great views of the beautiful city skyline. Different tourist locations and other attractions are a fun way to explore the city which makes trips there so enjoyable.

  21. If I were to go anywhere in the United States in a post-pandemic world, I would go to Hawaii. It has always been a dream of mine, and the white sand beaches, clear blue waters, and sunsets all contribute to the state’s beauty. I would spend the majority of my time relaxing on the beach in the warm sunshine. My family and I were supposed to go to Hawaii last July, but due to COVID-19, we were unable to go. If I have the chance to live out my dream, it would definitely be something I would never forget.

  23. If I could go anywhere in the United State post-pandemic, I would go to California. It has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember, it has so many sights like the Hollywood sign. I would love to visit to meet some of my role models and idols just to ask them questions about how they went from where they were before to now winning awards, and changing lives. Another reason why I would love to visit California is so I can try some of the foods they specifically have in the west coast. I have never been past Michigan so, I have no idea what some of the restaurants over in California taste like I heard some of the foods were delicious.

  27. If I could go anywhere in the United States, I would go to Hawaii. I’ve only gone to the beaches on the East coast, and I would like to go to the west coast for a change. In places like Charleston, South Carolina you get an incredible beach experience, but it wouldn’t be comparable to a trip to Hawaii. Hawaii has a cool culture that welcomes you into the state and is also shown everywhere you go. If I were to go to Hawaii I would enjoy a day at the beach and go scuba diving to see the interesting plants and cool fish.

  28. If covid-19 was out of the equation, and I had the opportunity to travel anywhere in the United States, I would definitely travel to Hawaii.
